What this game stores
Rare Dive saves your active and completed dives, submitted answers, best score, completed Daily dates, Unlimited play count, and accessibility and sound preferences in your browser’s localStorage. These records use keys beginning with rare-dive:v1:. They are used to resume a session, calculate a streak, and remember settings.
This release has no account system, ads, payment processing, third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. The application does not send your answers or scores to a game server. Fonts, artwork, and interface assets are served with the site.
Hosting and basic request data
Requests to load the site are handled by the hosting provider. Hosting infrastructure may process information such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, and error or access logs to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from the game records kept in localStorage.
Sharing is your choice
Pressing Share uses your device’s sharing interface where available. Pressing Copy writes a spoiler-free result to your clipboard when permitted. The result contains a score, depth, rarity symbols, a date or mode, and the site link. It excludes the answers you typed. The destination you choose has its own privacy practices.
Erase your local records
Use your browser’s site settings to clear storage for this origin, or remove keys beginning with rare-dive:v1: through the browser’s developer tools. This erases local progress, streaks, and preferences. Records do not sync across browsers or devices, and this release offers no recovery service.
Changes to the game
If this site later introduces accounts, analytics, advertising, or other data collection, this page must be updated before those features are enabled. For the current game behavior, see How to play and the site terms.
